There is a customary opinion that we should eat, “in order to save strength”. This association of food and power is so rooted in the human consciousness that we are sure that we are obliged to eat three times a day.
We are accustomed to consider a person who has a good appetite, a healthy person. We welcome the desire to have more in order to recover.
During the long research and study of various types of food, I developed a look in my mind to look at food as something more than just a habit of eating. The body can be nourished by anything that can be put in the stomach to dismiss hunger.
But from one food strong, strong, healthy, young cells will be built, and from the other – weak, sick, unable to ensure the functioning of the body properly. We often see people who “eat well”, but their condition is too far from really good.
Poor skin color, lack of pronounced muscular tone and energy of these people are striking, although food in their digestive organs comes in abundance.
There were times in human history when a person received his food exclusively from the hands of nature, not processed. In those days, people had the natural opportunity to choose such food that was really necessary for a healthy life.
An inner voice told him what to eat. You can call this voice an instinct or any other term, but in times of the early history of mankind it was a great helper.
I am sure that a man became a man in the tropical belt, there nature created him a house, there his body was constantly saturated with powerful rays of the sun.
After all, the skin needs vitamin D, which is created under the sunlight. The skin also needs vitamin A, but today’s human body is so reborn, so full of mucus and toxins, so strong in it is mineral and vitamin deficiency that it cannot live in the sun for a long time. Many people do not perceive the action of the sun and blame it on the sun.
Human skin is reborn from overuse of soap. For many years now I have not used it at all. The exception is lather when shaving or when the dirt on the hands is not washed with water.
With the transition of a person to regions with a colder climate and the invention of clothing, he lost contact with food prepared by the sun, and direct body contact with the sun. The civilized man suppressed himself with heavy clothing.
I am sure that the place from which man originated is a paradise of the tropics, where his diet was an abundance of fresh fruits and vegetables, nuts of all kinds and seeds.
I am also sure that a person can live on such a diet for 900 years. His excretory system was exactly adapted to the natural diet. And I am sure that the first people who inhabited the tropics were vegetarians.
However, I’m not quite sure that today there is a full opportunity for a person to become a vegetarian. The man who lived five or six thousand years ago was very different from today. In those days, people lived in the fields and in the forests, where they found abundant healthy food.
Today we live in homes, protect our bodies from fresh air and breathe in the dirt, drink chemically recycled water and completely abandon physical activity. The average life expectancy of a modern person in America is 68 years, although it is possible to live on natural food for 900 years, I repeat.
